Recruitment for Junior Translator CSOL Examination 2015

SSC has announced the vacancies for the post of Junior Translator. The last date for the aspiring candidates to apply is 5th October, 2015 for which the exam will be held on 17th January, 2016. There is no facility of online applications. The examination consists of a written test of two papers for 400 marks and a personal interview for 100 marks.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate aspiring to apply for the post of Junior Translator through CSOL examination must fulfill all the requirements of the concerned authorities and must fall under the given criteria. The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Apart from this, he or she must fulfill the educational and age eligibility that is described below.

Educational qualification:

For Junior Translator, the candidate must be holding a Masters degree from a reputed University or college with Hindi/English as essential subjects or in any two subjects other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English as compulsory or elective subject and/or Hindi/English as medium of examination at degree level.

Age qualification:

The candidate must be lying between the age group of 18 years to 30 years as per on the date of examination. The age relaxations are provided as per the Government rules for the reserved seats. Otherwise, no exemption will be given to the general category candidates.

How to apply?

The aspiring candidates require applying through paper application for their desired post from the official website of the SSC, log on to ssc.nic.in. Then, in the specified form, the candidate needs to fill in their accurate mandatory details such as their name, age and contact details.  Further, upload your digital picture and signature as per the given rules and format. The candidates are required to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rupees 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only. Any other mode of payment will not be accepted. Finally, submit the form by posting to concerned Regional Office or Sub-regional Office of the Commission.
